Attorney and Non-Attorney Representation and The Percent of Favorable Decisions for Total Dispositions
- 58.6% of all the dispositions in FY 2000 had attorney involvement and 13.4% had non-attorney involvement.
- Because both an attorney and a non-attorney were present in 3.2% of the cases, a total of 68.8% of the dispositions were represented.
- The percent of favorable decisions for those claimants represented by an attorney was 63.6% compared to 40.1% for those claimants without an attorney.
- Of the 68.8% of the claimants represented, the percent of favorable decisions was 62.6%.
For those claimants not represented, the percent of favorable decisions was 40.1%.
